Bulgaria shines on the global stage! Team “Automation Aid”, made up of Slav Astinov and Sava Barbarov, has taken first place at the ISTQB® Testing Cup 2025 Global Final in Copenhagen.

The competition brought together eight of the world’s top QA teams for an intense 6-hour testing marathon, with participants from Bulgaria, Israel, Denmark, Austria, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Lithuania, and Serbia. Each team of two faced complex real-world challenges, putting their technical skills, creativity, and teamwork to the ultimate test.

Judged by an international panel of five experts from Bulgaria, Israel, South Africa, Poland, and Denmark, Team Automation Aid impressed everyone with their precision, innovative approach, and problem-solving under pressure, earning Bulgaria its first-place victory!

• Sava Barbarov brings expertise in automation, performance, and security testing, along with hands-on experience in AI-powered workflow automation.
  
• Slav Astinov focuses on building scalable automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, with a recent focus on integrating AI into testing workflows to drive efficiency and innovation.
